Mr. White is originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico. Prior to graduating from college he began his teaching career in the fall of the 1984. He attended West Texas State University, which is now part of the A&M system. While at WT he performed with the concert band, symphonic band, and percussion ensemble. He is beginning his 24th year as a certified band director. During his career his band have received consistent first division ratings. He has worked with groups at all levels in the state of Texas including being involved with ATSSB and TMEA. Mr. White spent several years working with Music For All/Bands of America and has been selected to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers five times.
Mr. Eades is originally from Waco, Texas. He graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO with a Bachelor of the Arts in Music and a minor in Jazz Studies. While at Truman he performed in the Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, and the Truman Statesman Marching Band, and worked as an undergraduate assistant with the Statesmen Marching Band. He performed with the 2011 Colts and the 2013 Bluecoats and he has also worked on the visual staff of the Colts.
Mr. Eades has a passion for working with middle school students and being a part of their journey in music!
Mr. Strange is a percussionist, educator, and arranger from Chesapeake, Virginia. He has an extensive background in the marching arts, serving on the percussion staff at both Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps and the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps. He was a member of the 2013 Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps Front Ensemble playing xylophone, as well as the Santa Clara Vanguard from 2014-2017 playing vibraphone, xylophone, and center marimba and section leader in 2017. The Santa Clara Vanguard, under the direction of Paul and Sandi Rennick, received the Fred Sanford High percussion award in 2014, 2016 and 2017. In 2015, Mr. Strange performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard percussion section at PASIC.
Mr. Strange earned his Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of Alabama. During his time in Alabama, he instructed and arranged for the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band Front Ensemble. While at Alabama, he had the opportunity to perform at NBA and CBDNA with the Alabama Wind Ensemble and Symphonic band. Mr. Strange is leaving the University of Alabama on a high note, as they have won the PAS International Percussion Ensemble competition. Mr. Strange earned his B.S. in Music from Radford University. At Radford, he had the opportunity to perform alongside many notable percussionists such as Gordon Stout, Michael Burritt, Anders Astrand, Thomas Burritt, and Maraca 2. In 2016, he traveled to Ireland for a series of performances with the Radford University Wind Ensemble. He also had the honor of performing with the Radford University Percussion Ensemble at the Kennedy Center in 2015. In January of 2018, Michael traveled to Slovenia with the Radford University Percussion Ensemble to perform at Bumfest. He is excited to join the team at Azle!
